"I found mediation to be very useful. With Gillian's help, my ex-partner and I were able to discuss and make decisions about our young daughter, in a sensible and mostly calm manner. Gillian helped my ex-partner and I to stay on track with our discussions and personally, Gillian helped me to see things in a different way and often in a better light which helped me to discuss and negotiate better with my ex-partner."

"Thank you for helping us through this so amicably! I thought the process worked really well, and I appreciated the way it slowed down our thinking, and took the pain out of the situation that I'd felt before we started. The focus on the girls really stuck with me. "

"Thank you for doing an outstanding job in our mediation. I did not believe that this could be done so quickly but with your help and expertise somehow we managed to pull it off."

"It has been both a pleasure and a real benefit to work with Gillian. She really helped us to resolve our parenting dispute with dedication, professionalism, honesty and impartiality. Moreover the sessions we had gave us some keys to better communicate in the future as separated parents."

"Gillian has done an excellent job. Very professional at all times. Very efficient. Lovely easy manner to put us both at ease."

Privacy Policy

Krajewski Mediation (hereafter referred to as KM) is a small, sole trader, delivering a highly personal, private mediation service to a relatively small number of clients. It is our job to keep personal data safe so clients can know they are in safe hands. We will never share your data with anyone unless you tell us we can and except where we are required to do so and as set out below.

• KM collects only the information needed to deliver the family mediation service.
• KM holds data on a single, secure computer.
• KM communicates in writing using Yahoo UK and Krajewski email and via Royal Mail, in face to face meetings in suitable mediation venues, online video conferences and by mobile and landline phone networks.

Complaints

The Family Mediation Council requires all member mediators to provide their complaints policy on their website. A copy of the KM complaints handling procedure is provided immediately on request.

Policy

It is KM policy to deal with all client complaints in accordance with the values and ethos of constructive listening and dispute resolution. KM welcomes all feedback and will seek to learn from it for the benefit of all involved with the KM service. We appreciate any time clients take to tell us about their experience of working with us. We wish to learn as a mediation practice and our intention is to consistently work to meet the needs of clients in accordance with the core principles that mediation is voluntary, mediators act impartially, discussions in mediation are confidential (unless a specified exception applies) and the decisions made about the issues brought to mediation are made by the parties to the mediation and not by the mediator. In all our interactions with clients, we strive also to be professional, courteous and understanding. Where we fall short, it is our policy to listen, learn and respond constructively so that our clients are ultimately satisfied with the service they receive.

It is the responsibility of the mediator at KM to respond constructively to complaints. It is normally the role of the mediator’s Professional Practice Consultant to support the constructive resolution of complaints that have not been resolved directly with the mediator to the client’s satisfaction. If they agree – the mediator and the complainant can also choose to appoint an outside mediator and use mediation to support the constructive resolution of complaints. If the responses to the complaint, as outlined above, are not accepted, then a complainant can ask the Family Mediation Standards Board to consider the complaint if certain criteria are met. The Family Mediation Council provides details of how to do this at https://www.familymediationcouncil.org.uk/complaints-about-mediators/
